Once you reserve your session date, you'll receive an automatic confirmation email immediately. Within a few minutes, you'll also receive a welcome guide with helpful information and a link to schedule your discovery call so we can begin planning your session together.
What happens after I reserve my session date?
After booking, you’ll receive a welcome guide and a link to schedule your discovery call, which typically takes place within 3–5 days of booking. During this call, we’ll talk through location ideas, outfits, and the overall vision for your session so everything feels relaxed and well planned.
Is my date guaranteed once I book?
Yes. Your session retainer secures your date and ensures that time is reserved exclusively for your family.
What if I’m not sure what location I want yet?
That’s completely okay. Many families aren’t sure at first. During your discovery call, we’ll talk through location options such as outdoor spaces, in-home sessions, or a rented studio to find what works best for your family.
Do you offer weekend sessions?
Yes. Weekend sessions are available but tend to book quickly, so I recommend reserving your date several weeks in advance if you need a weekend.
How far in advance should I book?
Most families book 4–6 weeks in advance, especially during popular seasons like spring and fall.
What types of sessions do you offer?
I photograph family sessions, children's personality portraits, milestone sessions, and senior portraits.
While I don’t offer newborn sessions, I love capturing baby milestones such as sitting, crawling, and first birthdays.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions can take place outdoors, in your home, or in a rented studio space, depending on what fits your vision best. I serve families in Troy, Ohio, and surrounding communities in Miami County.
What if my kids don’t cooperate during the session?
Don’t worry — kids don’t need to sit still or smile perfectly. My sessions are relaxed and guided, allowing kids to move, play, and interact naturally so we can capture genuine moments.
